Whenever I hear this, even now, I feel my little heart squeeze just a little, and my heart beat skip. And I swear dust always finds a way to get into the corner of my eye just when this song starts (thankfully no tears drop). This amazing score tied in with the momentum the entire game brings you to has placed the ME2’s Suicide Mission as my favorite, most heart wrenching “This is It” moments in video gaming for me. It all leads to this.
karebearsk8: with a broken heart, I’ve decided to sit out US National Championships this year. While I’m extremely disappointed, this season I’ve learned to put my health first. I had planned to come back strong and confident at Nationals, but I know that putting that determination towards recovery and preparing for next season is ultimately the best decision I can make to reach my goals.
